Milano Mind Merlata Station

The project involves the construction of the new MIND Merlata station, comprising a new passenger building on the MIND District side, a new station platform with related access systems and waiting shelters. The connection between the new station building and the new platform is ensured by the existing cycle and pedestrian overpass MIC. The project is completed by the new cycle and pedestrian ramp on the MIND District side, providing continuity to the pathway between MIC and the new MIND district.

The design of the new MIND Merlata Station is part of a broader renewal of the existing mobility infrastructure in the Municipality of Milan and the neighboring Municipality of Rho. The project area is currently undergoing a significant development plan, including the establishment of a technological hub, a university and healthcare center, as well as the adaptation of existing infrastructure to accommodate the new MIND-Merlata Station.

The station integrates into a new metropolitan mobility model, enabling thousands of users to reach the MIND and Cascina Merlata area every day from Milan and neighboring municipalities.
